What do LaTeX, Magical Staves and the Simpsons have in common?

I’m using LaTeX a lot to write my thesis. Today, when searching for something in the complete manual (PDF), I came across this:

    hey, I too stumbled upon LaTeX’s Simpsons support recently — the problem is though, I could not get any Simpsons characters appear šŸ™ I added usepackage{simspons} and typed \Homer but it did not work šŸ™ Have you tried it yourself?

    Sorry, I tried looking for it today but couldn’t find any real latex document on the web that uses the Simpsons symbols šŸ™

    It didn’t work on my Miktex either.

    http://packages.debian.org/stable/tex/texlive-fonts-extra
    But have not tried it šŸ™‚

    I just noticed this as well. Actually I think I noticed it before but it never clued in. Someone needs to make a Scooby Do package as well. Otherwise the comprehensive symbol feels inadequately incomplete.
